About the adventure
What This Game Feels Like This campaign places combat and exploration at the center of play. How to spend your time: Mapping unknown corridors Searching dangerous rooms Fighting creatures with limited resources Deciding what treasure is worth carrying Managing spells, Hit Dice, consumables, and equipment Discovering shortcuts and safer routes Learning which threats should be avoided Making plans under pressure Roleplay happens naturally through the people attempting to survive together. Your party will argue about whether to open one more door. Someone will insist there is still time. Someone will look at the clock. Someone will be right. The Dungeon Is Fair—Not Safe Danger will be communicated through description, environmental clues, previous discoveries, enemy behavior, and information earned through careful play. You will likely encounter something stronger than you. Running is allowed. Avoiding a fight is allowed. Barricading a door is allowed. Leaving treasure behind is allowed. Returning tomorrow is allowed. The dungeon does not care whether you defeat everything inside it. It only cares whether you recognize when you should stop trying. Every live session begins with the Gate opening. From that moment, the party has two hours time to explore the dungeon and return across the threshold. When time expires, the Gate closes until next session and any hero who has not returned is lost within the dungeon. Sometimes another expedition may discover what became of them. Sometimes they find only what was left behind. Every player has access to a protected personal Safe outside the dungeon Anything inside the Safe survives character death. Anything carried into the dungeon is being risked. When a character dies permanently, the player creates a new level-one adventurer with access to your Safe items paid for by the blood of your previous character.

About me
My love for tabletop roleplaying began as a way to spend meaningful time with my family. What started as a family hobby quickly became a passion for writing adventures, portraying memorable characters, and helping players build confidence and a sense of belonging through shared storytelling experiences. Today, I run reliable, character-driven Dungeons & Dragons campaigns for new, returning, and experienced players. At my table, you can expect: - Meaningful choices that shape the story - Immersive roleplay and memorable NPCs - Creative problem-solving - Story-focused combat - Every character matters - Clear communication and dependable scheduling - Patient support for new and returning players As an educator, voice actor, and game designer, I make D&D approachable without removing its depth or challenge. You do not need years of experience to belong at my table! I only expect you to bring a willingness to participate, collaborate, and help create a great story with us. New and returning players receive: - Help understanding their character sheet - Guidance turning ideas into game mechanics - Patient explanations during play - Encouragement to make their own decisions - Support building confidence from session to session Your choices matter. Your character belongs in the story. Let’s discover what happens next. Still Gaming periodically sponsors community seats for foster families, first responders, military families, and households seeking a shared storytelling experience. Sponsored opportunities are limited and announced separately from regularly scheduled professional campaigns. (Discord)

Creating your character
Starting Rules Level 1 Point Buy ability scores No starting equipment No starting gold Official D&D material Legacy content requires DM approval Characters must be willing to cooperate during expeditions You begin with ordinary clothing and your class abilities—nothing else. If an ability or spell requires a weapon, tool, spellcasting focus, costly component, or other physical object, you must find or purchase that object before you can use it. That disadvantage is intentional. The dungeon provides opportunities to obtain basic equipment early, but it does not promise that the first sword you find will be the sword you wanted. Adaptation is part of survival.

You will need a free D&D Beyond and Discord account.
What Still brings to the table
Every expedition will be prepared to provide meaningful choices rather than a collection of random rooms. I will bring: Varied dungeon environments Tactical encounters Environmental storytelling Hidden routes and shortcuts Dangerous traps with discoverable warning signs Meaningful treasure Persistent locations Monsters that behave intelligently Clear timekeeping Consistent rulings Fair consequences The dungeon will remember what you do. Doors remain unlocked. Enemies may relocate. Bodies may still be there. Creatures may move into previously cleared territory. Abandoned equipment can potentially be recovered. Your progress leaves scars on the dungeon. The dungeon is NOT a tame adventure
Homebrew rules
⏲️The Gate Clock The two-hour expedition timer is absolute and visible to everyone. 📌The Safe Only equipment successfully stored outside the dungeon persists automatically after character death. 🚫No Free Equipment Every usable item must be found, earned, traded for, or purchased. 💰Recovery Equipment left on a dead adventurer remains in the dungeon and may potentially be recovered by a later expedition. 🏃♀️➡️Structured Retreat Players are encouraged to disengage when necessary. Running away is a legitimate tactical decision. ⏩Fail Forward A failed exploration check may create danger, consume time, reveal incomplete information, or introduce a complication rather than simply producing nothing.

How Still creates a safe table
We will establish Lines and Veils before play and use X/N/O tools, private DM communication, and an Open Door policy. High character lethality does not mean player discomfort is part of the challenge. A character may be terrified. The player should still feel safe.
