About the adventure
----------------------------- "If you ever want to feel yourself and your character seen by a GM, play with Hermann! He is someone who has understood what it really means to play together." — Laurentius Siegfriedsson ----------------------------- During the Alloy Night, five ancient metallic dragons fly over the clouds in a magnificent spectacle of color and magic to renew their promise to protect the world from external threats. During tonight’s Alloy Night, only four dragons were seen in the sky. Kadaldan, the Devourer of Fears, was missing. Aside from you, no one else seems to remember the mighty Copper Dragon. How can that be? What happened? And are there others like you who haven’t forgotten Kadaldan? ----------------------------- "Hermann has a gentle, kind nature that seeps through the way he treats your character during your session. Every decision he makes has a level of attention to detail and intent that I haven't seen from many DM's before, and the consistent way he brings this energy to every game is exciting." — Duka -----------------------------

About me
One of my favorite things in the world is to experience stories. After over two decades of playing, running, and designing for TTRPGs, I finally decided to quit my software engineering career and do this full-time!

Creating your character
We'll start discussing character concepts before Session 0 in our private Discord server. This is where you can share ideas, ask questions about the world, and start thinking about who your level 3 character is and what drives them. During Session 0, we'll flesh out characters together, including: - Finalizing your character's mechanical build - Establishing your reputation and past expoits - Determining how you know each other (or will meet) - Integrating your backstory into the world Starting Level: 3 - Stat Generation: We will use the Heroic Array (17, 15, 13, 12, 10, 8) - Resources: All official content is available, plus Unearthed Arcana with approval. Homebrew ideas need to be checked and approved, but I'm pretty lenient, as long as it's balanced ;) Come with ideas, not finished sheets. We'll build your heroes together!
What to expect

How Hermann creates a safe table
Your safety and comfort are my top priorities. Here's how we'll maintain a welcoming table: Before Session 0: - I'll send you a confidential Lines & Veils form to fill out privately. This covers content you want completely avoided (Lines) and content you're okay with existing in the world but don't want spotlighted (Veils) - All responses are kept confidential and will be respected without question or explanation required During Session 0: - We'll discuss table expectations and comfort levels as a group (without requiring anyone to share private boundaries) - I'll explain our safety tools: X-Card (stop this content now), N-Card (no, let's not go there), O-Card (okay, this is getting intense, let's pause) - We'll establish how to use these tools in our digital format (quick Discord message or video signal) - We'll talk about content rating for the campaign and any themes we want to explore or avoid Throughout The Campaign: - Safety tools are always available—use them at any time, no questions asked - You can always message me privately if something comes up - We'll do brief check-ins at session start and end - If anything uncomfortable happens, we'll address it promptly and adjust course - Your Lines & Veils can be updated anytime After Difficult Sessions: - We'll do a brief debrief if the session was intense - I'm available for private follow-up conversations if needed This is a collaborative story. Everyone should feel respected, heard, and safe.
