About the adventure
The road south no longer ends—it drowns. What was once the Overseas Highway now stretches like a broken spine across the ocean, its bridges cracked, sections swallowed by rising tides, and entire miles lost beneath dark, shifting waters. The Florida Keys have become a chain of half-sunken islands, rusted structures, and desperate settlements clinging to whatever land remains above the floodline. Storms roll in without warning, tides shift unpredictably, and the sea itself feels alive with things that were never meant to survive the end of the world. This is not a place people come to rebuild. This is where people go when they have nowhere else left. Across the Keys, small factions fight to hold what little ground they can. Raider crews claim broken bridges and toll the desperate. Scavenger camps rise and fall overnight, stripped bare as quickly as they appear. Isolated communities barter for clean water, working generators, and anything that still resembles safety. Boats are as valuable as weapons, and every stretch of water could hide something watching beneath the surface. But something has changed. Rumors have begun to spread of a signal—faint at first, now growing stronger—coming from deeper within the Keys. Some say it’s an old-world facility that never went offline. Others claim it’s a weather control system, capable of calming the endless storms. Some whisper about sealed vaults, untouched supplies, advanced tech, or even a functioning power grid buried beneath the ruins. Whatever it is, it shouldn’t still be running. Two groups have already gone searching for it. Neither returned. Now the opportunity—and the danger—falls to you. This campaign follows two rival groups of survivors entering the Florida Keys, each fighting not just the wasteland, but each other. You will compete for land, resources, salvage, and control. Alliances may form, but they will not last forever. Every choice matters, every risk carries weight, and every mistake can cost you everything. This is not a forgiving journey. The deeper you travel, the harsher the world becomes. Supplies run thin. Paths disappear. Creatures grow more dangerous. And the things left behind by the old world begin to surface in ways no one can fully explain. Death is permanent. When you fall, your place in the Keys is taken by someone else willing to try. This is a campaign of survival, strategy, and endurance. You will need to plan, adapt, and think ahead. You will need to decide what matters—your group, your territory, your resources, or your life. Because in the Florida Keys, you don’t just survive the wasteland. You fight for the right to exist in it.

About me
I’ve been passionate about tabletop RPGs for over 15 years, during which I’ve run more than 900 sessions and developed a long-term campaign spanning over five years, featuring more than 200 custom maps—all created by me. I've built multiple unique worlds and host games via my own Discord server, where I stream sessions in 1440p at 60 FPS. I’m not only willing but genuinely excited to collaborate on custom homebrew content—whether it’s spells, characters, or other elements—to make each session engaging, memorable, and emotionally impactful. Outside of gaming, I’m a proud father of two, happily married, and a U.S. Army veteran with over six years of service. Recently, I’ve faced some financial challenges. Encouraged by my wife and regular gaming group, I decided to channel my passion and creativity into sharing the drama, humor, and unforgettable stories I craft with others in the community. If you have any questions or would like to learn more, please feel free to message me. I’d love to connect!

How Nuisance creates a safe table
Player safety and group harmony are top priorities in my campaign. I have a clear set of rules and expectations in place, and I will consistently enforce them to maintain a respectful, inclusive, and immersive environment for everyone. If any concerns arise—whether it’s interpersonal conflict, disruptive behavior, or a formal complaint—I will address the matter swiftly and appropriately. I bring with me years of military experience as an infantryman, including leading both teams and squads in Iraq and Afghanistan, as well as completing extensive leadership training. These experiences have equipped me to handle challenges with a calm, measured, and solution-oriented approach, while remaining sensitive to the needs and perspectives of everyone involved. My goal is to ensure that every player feels safe, respected, and supported, so that we can all fully enjoy the collaborative storytelling and adventure that Lustria has to offer.
