About the adventure
Strixhaven is a wonderful campaign world that's welcome to all. In this campaign; you will learn spells through classes and challenges, interact and encounter unique classmates making friends or even rivals, and uncover a mysterious shadow that seems to loom over Strixhaven. Any kind of player is welcome, but this one might be a little more roleplay and outside of combat challenge heavy. There will be combat, but remember, you're building a student going to a magic college, so maybe combat and fighting isn't on the front of their minds. Or maybe it is! For this campaign, to get a taste of all that the campaign has to offer, I'd love a PC to be apart of each of the schools on campus. Lorehold, Prismari, Quandrix, Silverquill, and Witherbloom. Also, whether you're a caster or not, all PCs will be learning spells from their respected college that they can use throughout the campaign. To add the element of a story hook and how to bring the party together, the Dragons of Strixhaven will have chosen your PCs and have decreed you to form a new system at Strixhaven called the Party System. Your characters will get free housing as you will share a small house on campus together. To add stakes and to get the party to work together, they will have a combined grade instead of just their individual grades. While I am doing a published adventure, I still love backgrounds and trying to incorporate them into the campaign when I can. So while you may be given the circumstances to get to Strixhaven, please feel free to make and create a fun backstory for your character! If you're looking for a campaign like this, please join in and let's tell an amazing story together!

About me
Hi there! I'm Jeremy Cain! I started doing Dungeons and Dragons during 2020 in my friend's backyard and fell in love with it. I have ran a few games myself and enjoy making campaigns for my players and telling stories I feel they would enjoy, but also challenge them. Can't let it be that easy!

Creating your character
I will be using DnDBeyond, so if players could make their characters there. I can make a campaign there too and share my content so players have a lot of options available. If you want to make the character before session 0, that's great, just be sure to join for session 0 so I can help add the homebrews I've made for the campaign to help make your character fit in their desired college.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
DnDBeyond accounts and joining the campaign through it. They can use online dice or physical dice as well.
What Jeremy Cain brings to the table
Provide all my content I have on DnDBeyond. I will also be using their maps feature to help with combat and explorations. My main thing is providing a space for creativity and fun. I want everyone to feel comfortable and play well with each other. I do go by what the rules say, but that doesn't mean you can't be creative with it as well. I will provide ambient music through Spotify. To help cater to any needs, feel free to reach out and ask any questions or have a list ready to go at session 0. This can be sensitive topics you want me to avoid, coming up with a safe word so I know when to skip it with no questions. Also, give me something you want with your character and what kind of arc you want for them within reason of the campaign.
Homebrew rules
As stated, I made some homebrew feats to make your characters fit and learn from their chosen college.

How Jeremy Cain creates a safe table
I love going over all this at session 0 so I can be attentive and write things down and get all players on the same page as well. I think the best way to do things would be a safe word even if it's over text right to me.
