Omnis Vir Lupus: A Red-Rising Inspired TTRPG Campaign

Creating your character

Everyone will start at 1st level, and we’ll do character creation as our first session. I’ll handle all of the books and math, all you need is your creativity, sense of humor, and joy. Because it's a homebrew setting, I have a lot of homebrew that is necessary, so I'll help you create your character. In addition, because there is an element of Werewolf/Mafia to this, we'll all do our character creation separately.

Preparing for the session

We’ll do everything together! Webcam is only necessary if you want to be on screen, which is an option but not required. You will need a mic, speaker, or headphones, Discord, and a working internet browser, but all else is prepared!

What Sam brings to the table

I have custom-made maps, world-specific homebrews, and spreadsheets of 650 NPCs, as well as extensive plot lines. I've also read this entire series at least 4 times. In addition, I have an absurd amount of accents and voices, improv experience, and a well-honed D&D Beyond account. I've spent many years improving homebrew worlds for characters and players, and adore doing this. We’ll play Rule of Cool (as long as it doesn’t break the game) and all improved input and world-building is not only accepted but appreciated!

Homebrew rules

A huge amount of this campaign is homebrewed, including the species, backgrounds, and subclasses. The entire concept of magic must be justified if it is within your abilities. Several other things are homebrewed, such as medPacks, which can be an action or bonus action, and everyone can use their object interaction to do an ability check. Other things will be decided on a case-by-case basis, and I will always listen to shenanigans.

How Sam creates a safe table

I’ll be sending everyone safety tools beforehand to make sure that all boundaries and triggers are respected. Session 0 will be intros and character creation help, and red/yellow/green cards will be used throughout, as well as the option to anonymously message me at any time. Breaks will be taken when needed, and there will be a debriefing afterward, as well as Stars and Wishes. All feedback is appreciated!
