I've been playing with Sam for 1.5yrs, in two campaigns. What has always been most apparent with Sam is their commitment to safety and inclusion. Both outside of the game and in it, Sam has continually been nothing but approachable, agreeable, and adaptable. I've never been nervous to DM Sam a quick question, silly joke, or to propose an idea. They've always made sure to work with me for anything I try to accomplish in game. I don't think I've ever heard a hard "no" to an idea at the table. The games may appear rules heavy, but those rules are designed to be pushed to their limits. The downright shenanigans that have occurred are absurd. Sam's tables and community are also an amazing space for anyone queer. Safety and security can be a hard thing to appropriately measure or size up, I can't give any statistics here. Just know that Sam has created an environment where I haven't been harassed at any table, and it is deeply appreciated. I'd highly recommend giving them a try!
