Meet the Game Master
About me
I played RPG's for over 13 years, almost exclusively as a DM. Conventions, local game centers and community interactions are all things I did and enjoyed. Decided to go online to continue what is, to put it simply, my passion. I have a solid number of completed games behind my back and I continue providing my players with fun and interesting encounters. I would picture myself as a rules as fun DM rather then rules as written. I do homebrew materials, constantly rewriting and improving. I reward roleplay and creative thinking. My players make the story - I just flesh it out.

A truly professional DM experience - I'd never used Foundry before and Tulio got us all oriented to it within the first session. He uses visual and sound effects that really draw you into combat, and allows players to find creative ways to solve problems. Our group just finished session 3 and we're having a blast. ETA the campaign continues to get better, everyone is so engaged. Tulio sets the standard!
Always tries to make sure all players have fun and participate in the adventure. Tulio is a great GM for new players as he is patient, supportive, and knowledgeable. Tulio's games usually have a few experienced players who have played with Tulio before that can help newer players find their footing and learn how to play the game from a player perspective. Tulio always makes time for questions and is open new ideas.
He is great for beginners and veteran players as well. Creates a fun atmosphere that allows for creativity but is also very well versed in the rules. His main objective is to run a great game for his players and he does that extremely well. I would definitely want to play in one of his games again.
He always puts in a ton of effort to make sure everyone has a good time, tweaking official modules to run more smoothly or filling in lean spots with extra story and things to do. Whether it be tweaking the politics of a pack of werewolves in Barovia which leads to an epic siege battle when a player is less than discreet, to adding a Monster Hunter hunting/crafting module to a Tomb of Annihilation, he always goes the extra mile and the campaigns are super fun as a result.
I have really enjoyed my time with Tulio and the rest of the group. He has been really great with the players that are a bit new to 5e; he always comes prepared, has really great maps beyond what normally comes with the module we are playing, has allowed us to integrate our characters and their backstories into the overall story (without derailing things), sometimes doing so on the fly, and finally of note is willing to work with the player and make adjustments to things like abilities (wild magic barbarian scaling, for instance), that helps alleviate the need for min/maxing for hard encounters.
Character creation
Creating your character
I will work with you to create a character that will seemlessly hop in to play the adventure with us. You only need a basic premise of your character - homebrew is allowed after initial revision.
