From Saltzburg it came—an unnatural fog, thick with silence and shadow, crawling outward as the light begins to falter.

About the adventure

Welcome to the land, referred to by those who inhabit it as Anora. A continent containing great multitudes in magical potential and geography, this place holds a wonder the like untamable by the likes of humanoid capability. Stretching from the sun touched desert of Irglesia, where the wind of sweeping sand has swallowed cities of ancient times. To the mountain tops of Burstona, with peaks so high, they have been yet untouched by the mortal eye. The people of this continent have found a balance with the sheer force of natural arcana that exudes itself from every forest or babbling brook. Here, they have created a booming economy vibrant with trade and knowledge from a diverse world of expansive life. The pinnacle of mortal trade, knowledge, and sheer might lies in the sprawling kingdom of Mes Nimis, a place where all roads come together smack dab right in the middle of the continent. But our story begins on a much smaller scale, within the town of Saltzburg, which lies adjacent to the foggy shores of Roth. The people here have led simple and pleasurable lives. That is until a faithful day in which a small group of adventures stopped in at the quaint little town, and from then on. Nothing was the same. What to expect: A mysterious campaign with an intriguing and ever-changing plot. It Explores themes of intense magic and brilliance that until now has been hidden by the fog of Roth. I will work with each player as much as they need or want before the game starts to ensure they feel like they understand how their character will fit into the story. I strongly encourage players to add a lot of details into their backstory so that I can weave it into the gameplay.

About me

I'm a passionate Dungeon Master in my early 20s with a deep love for storytelling, worldbuilding, and immersive roleplay. I’ve dedicated myself to crafting unforgettable narratives, weaving intricate storylines that seamlessly intertwine with player backstories to create a truly personal and engaging experience. Beyond the game table, I’m a theatre actor and performer. One of my favorite things about DMing is bringing characters to life with rich personalities, dynamic voices, and emotional depth. I’m also a cast member in a D&D podcast, which has promoted me to grow more as a DM and to create cinematic moments and thrilling rp opportunities! I believe that TTRPGS are at their best when every player feels empowered to explore their creativity. Whether you're a seasoned adventurer or new to the game, I strive to create a welcoming space where your choices drive the story forward, and your character's journey truly matters.

RHA is a fantastic GM. I've played many games with them, and each time, they are incredibly helpful and bring a great deal of creativity to their descriptions and storytelling. They are friendly, approachable, and foster a welcoming environment for everyone. Most importantly, they actively encourage and support player creativity, making each game even more engaging. They're an amazing GM.

I really enjoyed the level of antics RHA supported after all its DnD and he was very courteous in exploring our character’s backstories in the world!

RHA is an excellent storyteller and world builder. Worlds feel alive, roleplay is immersive, and stories have many unforgettable moments. A campaign run by this man will be fun.

my first ttrpg game was GM'd by Rha, and he did a fantastic job of getting me used to the style and game rules in general. he does a fantastic job of weaving long and short term stories together and giving each player time to shine. his rulings are fair but not unkind, and he has years of experience himself. would HIGHLY recommend.

RHA had been a DM for many of my games, and has such a way with words. They're very inclusive, they care strongly about their players feelings, they put a LOT of effort into the story, they have never railroaded, they're overall an amazing DM.

Character creation
Creating your character

Starting out for character creating you're totally welcome to use anything in the works of 5e (Including books like Xanathar's Guide to Everything, Tasha's Cauldron of Everything etc.). I do not put many limits on players as long as the material is within the expanded works of 5e. Stats will be decided on the basis of rolling and the honor system or with point buy -- its up to your preference! You are always welcome to create your character before the session zero, but there's no pressure either way. If you would prefer to work on your character during the session 0 that totally works, and I'll be there to support people if they need it. For the backstory, I definitely encourage you to write as much as you want. Some players get more enjoyment from writing long and intricate backstories, while some like to write more concise ones; either is fine! Either way, just try to get something for where you're character is from, people they would know, and whatever motivated them to pursue adventuring/traveling. The starting level for this campaign is level three. Please feel free to reach out if you think there's anything I missed or if you have any questions!

What to expect
Preparing for the session

You must have a Discord account and a working microphone! Other than that if you have a webcam that you would like to use you may but nobody is under any obligation to!

What RHA brings to the table

My players can expect a variety of things that I think make my games lively and interesting. This may include music from a variety of games, movies, and TV shows, thought-provoking social encounters, intense combat (if this is your preference), custom-made battle maps, and more! As you'll be able to tell from my DM style very quickly, I am very supportive of different play styles and generally pretty lenient to whatever I think will bring players a good game. If you put in effort to this game, such as with character creation, backstory, and rp --I'll give you everything I got.
