Welcome to Baldur's Gate! A city of ambition, corruption - and more than the occasional murder. But hey, it's home! Residing in this place, you've eked out a living, even made a small name for yourself and enjoy a stable lifestyle. But with all of these refugees spilling in past the gates, it's unclear what's going on outside of the city walls. What is clear is that there is civil unrest, locals treating those seeking asylum with disdain, even forcing them to live in the street. You are no fool. You recognise a powder keg when you see one. The only question is whether or not the fuse has already been lit...

Matt is one of the better DM's out there and is not in it to just take your money. He enjoys being a DM and wants to make a experience that all players enjoy. He has an excellent knowledge of the rules, he takes the extra time to be prepared for his game, and strives to meet his players needs. My very first D&D adventure was with Matt and I'm glad it was. Matt was very helpful in understanding the rules and learning the game. Most NPCs had their own personalities and were fun to interact with. Matt also doesn't force anything onto the party and adjusts the game for the players really well. Overall I would recommend him to new players and veterans alike.

We will be using the new MAPS feature with D&D Beyond, also players will have access to Syrinscape Audio, giving everyone an immersive experience.
Homebrew rules
A lot of homebrew items are in play, along with some home-brew rules on stabilising a downed character without aid (ie. Healer's kits, etc).
