A well balanced combination of relaxed and a no nonsense while he's at the head of the table. The back end of the game is always well organized before he starts a session and the storytelling is never overlooked. A GM that does not show his hand unless you were supposed to see it. Battles scaled well throughout the campaigns I was apart of. Highly recommend Mega Flare to anyone in need of a GM who dots their I's and crosses their T's. High wisdom, intuition, and fairness stats are all parts of his irl character sheet. Perfect for any skill level players, maintains a safe atmosphere at all times, intimate knowledge of various table top games and many other ideal traits to keep all the players invested and not too far out of line.
I've participated in several one shots led by Mega Flare and they're always a delight. He's really patient with newer players, often giving helpful suggestions instead of punishing them in combat. I love his calm demeanor, thorough understanding of mechanics, openness to silly shenanigans, and detailed descriptions of the surroundings.
Having the pleasure of playing with Mega Flare for many many sessions, he is probably one of the best GM's I've encountered (especially when jumping head first into the realm of tabletop games). All stories are chock full of detailed environments, incredible mood setting and really make you feel like you are a part of something. He truly is a gem among the masses. Would rate higher than 5 stars if I could.
When I played D&D with Mega Flare, it had been nearly a decade since I had last played. Mega Flare was able to very quickly teach me the new rule set, and helped me build a very fun character. During the game, he was quick to make sure that myself and the other new players were included, and that we didn't get steam rolled by the veteran players in the group. It was a very fun experience playing D&D again, and I'm glad that Mega Flare was my DM for it!
I've been playing games with Mega Flare for about 6 years now! He's an amazing GM who does a really good job of communicating and does his best to ensure everyone is getting what they want out of the game. He knows the rules really well but will still allow for Rule of Cool moments when he really likes what a player does. I can't recommend him enough, honestly. Whether you're an experienced player wanting challenging combat or a beginner who's looking for a safe place to enter the hobby, you can't go wrong with my goat.

What Mega Flare brings to the table
I usually do character voices mostly changing the inflection of my voice but I do a few accents every now and then. I often bring ambient music to help paint the scene. I lean towards Rules as Written gameplay but will bend to what makes sense and is fun in the moment Every combat for Isalhiem will be High Difficulty. I will not have creatures go for hits while the PCs are Unconscious unless we as a table have agreed on that level of extra difficulty.

How Mega Flare creates a safe table
In Session 0: I will have each player fill out a consent form to gather Lines and Veils We will make characters together if needed Set expectations on Tone and Theme as well as overall difficulty of the campaign. During Play: X, N, & O's will be handled in Roll20 We will always take a mid Session Break usually 10 minutes Plan to have a post session debrief or cooldown for at least 15 minutes as well
