About the adventure
Fangs in the Fog is a gritty game of survival, mystery and personal horror that will follow our coterie of Vampires. The coterie will need to work together to find their place in Kindred society and survive the harsh and bitter reality of their unlife as problems come at them from all sides and sources.

About me
Greetings! I'm David, and I've been playing TTRPGs for 20 years, and been running them as a DM/Storyteller for over fifteen years, mainly in D&D and Vampire: The Masquerade. My goal in hosting any game is to give the players the best experience possible, including ambient music and soundtracks, heavily modified and customized FoundryVTT tabletops with web-based hosting, help in learning the game's system and rules (yes, even if you are new!) and a *collaborative* storytelling experience that immerses you in the world we're exploring. What do I mean by collaborative storytelling? I strive to make every player feel included in both the group of players and in the telling of the actual story, whether it be high fantasy or modern day. My favorite and most memorable campaigns as a player have always brought the group of players together in telling a great story with input from everyone, not just the GM. That being said, the games I run tend to be more role-play than roll-play, so if that's something you're looking for, I hope to see you in a game sometime soon!

I couldn't recommend David enough! I had decided to finally dip my toes into the WoD setting and I couldn't have ask for a better person to take this journey with. His stories are really compelling, immersive, and have you wishing the week would hurry up and pass by so you can see what happens next. He can take a simple character concept and make one of the best stories I've seen around them where you find yourself loving your character even more. Beyond all of this, he's just a fantastic guy all around: friendly, easy to talk to, and truly cares for his players
I don't even know where to begin. This man is a Storyteller and while his worlds have their own stories and their own layers of intrigue the players might never see he is still here first and foremost to facilitate you telling the story of your characters with as much or as little input as you give you'll find your characters being taken in directions that you couldn't have anticipated. If you're looking for a game where you can fully manifest your character then this is the storyteller for you.
LongNight has a laid back style of GMing but do not let that fool you. If a player want to be intensive in their planning, lore, backstory and playstyle. It happens and he will create the perfect environment for it to Flourish. Because LongNight's style produces an environment where his players are able to fully shine no matter where they came from. New players are able to slowly creep their way with learning to play with the systems while more experienced players are able to go all out and fully explore the world, system and experience they want to go. I Wholly recommend LongNight as a GM :)!!!!
The LongNight brings a passion to the game that elevates it to a whole new level. They are not only passionate about the world that they have created but also your characters place in it. They make it very easy to get and stay engaged with the story. Amazing job one of the best I've played with.
Character creation
Creating your character
- Character creation will be handled during 'Session 0' time, it would be helpful to come with an idea or three of what you would like to play so that it can be discussed with myself and other players.
- The coterie currently consists of two Tzimisce, a Brujah and a Hecata. Join us as they explore the supernatural side of San Francisco, navigate the social scene of the Bay Area and deal with the consequences of their past (and current) actions. - New players are welcome! I have a lot of experience coaching players, whether you are new to Roll20, Forge/Foundry, this edition or to TTRPGs in general. - Character creation will be discussed at Session 0, as well as character concepts and how your party came to be. - My storytelling style leans more towards ROLEplaying than ROLLplaying. Combat, rules and character optimization has it's place in any game, but the story is the important bit. How much combat is included in the campaign will be discussed at Session 0. - You play characters in a big world. There are creatures and organizations more powerful than you, at least to start. Your actions will have consequences for yourself and the others in the party, and possibly on the world itself. Expectations - Voice for the game will be over Discord, so a good microphone, headphones (or ear buds) and little to no background noise is required. This includes NOT having computer speakers turned on while talking, as no one likes to hear feedback and echoes while they are talking. I also request that players NOT use Discord on a mobile device as the quality is garbage. Please use a laptop or computer. - Please be considerate of everyone else in the group in terms of scheduling. Let us know as soon as you can about missing scheduled sessions so that decisions can be made. - Be on time to sessions: this is just basic respect for everyone in the group. - This game is a safe space for all from all bigotry and hate. This includes (but isn't limited to) religious views, race, gender identity and sexual preference.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
