About the adventure
Phandalin was once a prospering human town due to a mine that held a forge of legend. Despite the roads being dangerous, travelers from all areas of the Sword Coast would come to see the Forge of Spells; a forge so powerful as to have the power to imbue weapons and armor with raw magical energy. But all was not so great for Phandalin, or the wonder it held. When orcs swept down from the north, Phandalin lay under attack. It's buildings burned and people died and in the end, the town was reduced to a smoldering pile of ash. Those who did stay were mainly wizards, who caused the mine containing the forge to cave in and collapse. These men and women died, and soon the orcs gave up on trying to reach the powerful forge. Phandalin was left a cold pile of ashes for years until almost nothing remained. In this time, legends had spread about the lost forge, and many - albeit unsuccessful - have tried to reach the forge for themselves. And so it was the town layed smoldering. Alone, off Triaboar Trail, and almost forgotten. Then things changed. The town began to be rebuilt leaving it in the state it's in now. A frontier town to the west that guards a long lost treasure. For reasons of your own, you have all reached the City of Neverwinter. Rumor has spread that you are adventurers of sort, and you have all been told that a dwarf named Gundren Rockseeker wishes to speak to you; the reward being gold if you help him. It's something to consider, at least.

About me
Hello, I am a Dungeon master who has done a lot of small campaigns and am hoping to expand my knowledge and complexity. I love fantasy and sci-fy. I believe the DM's job is to make his players have fun at the table since most rules leave a lot of liberty in their interpretation. I hope we make awesome adventures together
