About me
Having been a player for nearly five years and being a DM for my home game for almost two years, I want to bring a home game feel to online play. I want players to feel safe exploring their characters while enjoying the freedom to try crazy shenanigans designed to derail the DM's cunning plans.

Character creation
Creating your character
Character creation will happen at session zero either as a group or as individuals (if joining late). Every character will then get a bespoke solo introduction to the campaign, so an idea of a backstory would be helpful (however small) but optional. Characters will be created using a free DND Beyond account. As this is a multiverse campaign, settings may seem familiar, but significant changes will have been made to change things up.
Current level 6 We are currently competing in the infamous Dragonbowl Tournament and building the character to level 10 to start Vecna:Eve of Ruin Party consists of the following Human Samurai Fighter Orc Painkiller Illrigger Human Circle of the Moon Druid Leonin Festus Domain Cleric DM Controlled (until we get a healer)

What peter brings to the table
My entire catalogue that is on DNDbeyond DNDMaps dedicated DIscord server For this campaign, each player will get an individual entrance( based on their backstory) into the story regardless of where the campaign is currently. While I value adherence to the rules, I also appreciate the roleplay, drama, and clever interpretations that players bring to the game. I'm open to allowing these elements to enhance the gameplay. At the end of the day, as much as I want to run a good game, it is never a good game if the players are not enjoying it. Also each session will be accompanied with background music (optional) to enhance the experience
Homebrew rules
Special dice rules for critical hits and misses. including some different rules for melee/ranged/spells/healing.

How peter creates a safe table
Each player will get a Free session zero, where we will go through character creation and game settings and work out the start of your backstory. If there are any triggers that we can avoid, this is the place to mention them, and we can adjust the story accordingly. If players find a situation emotionally challenging, they can message me to stop, and we will take a break. Each player will get a bespoke intro to the campaign regardless of where/when we are. However, there must be a backstory about why your character has begun adventuring. A couple of sentences is more than enough. This will then be paid off with an in-game conclusion
