About the adventure
A Pathfinder Society Scenario designed for 1st- through 4th-level characters. It's time to explore! With the Society coming off of their recent victory in finally defeating an old enemy, they choose to turn to refocus on the goals of the Pathfinder Society: Explore! Report! Cooperate! As a celebration for such a successful year, there's a party being hosted with all sorts of friends both new and old in attendance. However, when one of Fola Barun's dear friends needs to be entertained in order to prepare a surprise, it's up to the Pathfinders to show him around the famous Maze of the Open Road. When he starts to encourage exploration, new doors appear and new adventures await! Intro: Year of Unfettered Exploration is the introduction to the plot of the Year of Unfettered Exploration. This scenario presents characters and themes that will feature in Year 5's metaplot, and so it is is a natural starting point for players looking to jump into the action.

Edward was incredibly friendly and excited to share his knowledge and love of Call of Cthulhu. He crafted a great, fast paced environment while taking the time to explain the rules and how the game worked. Definitely made me interested in playing more games in this system. Also really appreciated his use of Roll20: great mastery of effects and style to build tension while conducting our investigations.

Edward runs very chill games where the focus is more on having fun than anything else. Even though the dice were not rolling in our favor, the energy he (and the other players) brought to the table kept things rolling in a positive manner.

Creating your character
Players can make characters according to the Pathfinder Society guidelines or show up with nothing and I will provide pregenerated characters. Just show up and have fun!
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Nothing is required. I will have pregenerated characters and describe the world of Pathfinder if you are completely new or if you have a society character feel free to bring them and have them join up. All are welcome!

This game uses the white card to keep players safe. This is a society game, so players can expect an equal mix of role-playing, exploring, and combat. No major issues will be addressed aside from combat and violence. There will be no extreme content in this family friendly adventure.
