About the adventure
A heinous and inexplicable crime shocks the small and remote island of Crimson Island. The party, the only villagers willing and able to solve it must violate its unspoken, yet restrictive social rules, in order to crack the case. Burning Secrets is an intellectually challenging exercise, not just in mystery-solving, but also in social strategy. While you may have to do a lot to find answers, when, where, and in front of who, are all questions worth considering if your reputation is to be salvaged (and if others are to cooperate with you). The original mechanic of reputation has been introduced to track these decisions, and imbue the setting with a distinct flavor and sense of realism. If you crave an intellectual challenge, balanced with a hefty dose of combat and a long-term campaign, this is the listing for you.

About me
Hello everyone, my name is Manos Daoulas and I've been Game Master for about two years now. I'm just finishing up my law degree at the University of Oxford, so you bet that those precious roleplaying hours are the highlight of my week. I've primarily run Call of Cthulhu, but am currently running an entirely homebrew DnD 5e campaign for my regular party. I am particularly interested in running horror/mystery/investigation scenarios, but am entirely comfortable in running other sorts of adventures as well. Whether you prefer a more tactical, or roleplay-heavy experience, I'm your guy. Creating your character
Character Creation will occur in a Session 0 that will take place free of charge. During that session we can also discuss your group's preferences.

Players should prepare by being familiar with the core rules of DnD 5e, as well as by having a solid understanding of their characters' abilities.
What Manos Daoulas brings to the table
I will bring all three of the core books, as well as the binder containing all the information on the world and story. Additionally, I will construct detailed maps for both the world and specific encounters.

How Manos Daoulas creates a safe table
Sessions in this campaign can be quite diverse. Some may be combat heavy dungeon crawlers, while others may be clue-gathering mysteries, or even offer puzzle based and social challenges. The proportions can be adjusted based on the preferences of your group. What is a fixture, however, is the sense of lurking danger and intrigue. Should you desire, numerous side-challenges and objectives can be added, to give a break from the monotony of the main quest, but also reward the characters with treasure and a deeper understanding of their world.
