I did a 1-shot with Der Wolf, to test his waters, and boy were they fun waters! The game ran smoothly, in a very fun and funny way whilst keeping the serious nature of the quest alive. Der is also a DM that clearly wants the players to succeed. He might SAY that he wants to kill you, but you can tell it’s all jest for the fun of it. If my number of played sessions shown is higher than one, that means I was finally able to get into a long-term game with him (which is my goal). I recommend this wonderful GM to you all.

Easily one of the best storytellers I have gamed with! Antigoni makes their world come to life, allowing me to truly see myself in it and experience it through my character! Ravenloft is oppressive, bleak, and different from common “horror” and WOW, they let it show! Without asking, they have allowed my character’s simplest dialogs to matter, both to help and hurt me so that it all feels real! To me, THIS is Role Playing! This isn’t even mentioning the combats that make me wonder if we are going to live or die! On top of this, they know the rules so well, aim for fairness, and are simply a joy of a person to be around! You don’t feel like you’ve simply hired someone to run a game, but instead feel like you’ve found a really cool person to hang out with for a few hours! I look forward to more and more gaming with Antigoni and recommend you do the same!

Whilst I was unable to start a game with Aether due to job shifts, I was able to work with them on a character that I am gutted to not be able to play as! Not only were they open to allowing something truly unique, but they also helped immensely with the backstory, taking a leading role helping me feel like this character would truly fit into this world! They even worked hard to help make art that I would be happy with, going over multiple iterations before we decided on one. From our times of chatting, I can say that Aether would be an amazing DM and one that I truly hope to game with properly someday, as the story they built is just fantastically detailed and open to player input!

Whilst I could not stay due to life getting in the way, Vale proved to be an awesome GM in the 2 sessions I got to play in. He knows his story, he knows how to use Foundry (and teach it to others), and is greatly patient with some of our newer, even first-time players. If you want a game where RP is taken seriously and a GM that truly cares about your character's backstory, this is your guy!

Colby has been a breath of fresh air in Pathfinder 1e GMs. Whilst many of us have met both good and not-so-good GMs, Colby sits high on the good side! They run a smooth game, both in taking it seriously and allowing the players/characters to shine through. We are given so much great time to RP, which is a favorite part of mine, and runs combats that are both challenging and satisfying!
