Eggothy | Dylan

Dylan knew exactly how to set up an exciting first session. We were immediately pitched into a high-speed chase, and he knew which rules and mechanics to use and which to hand-wave in this segment of high-action. He also chose fantastic music to set a tone, and he had a spot-on intuition for how much slack to give us when we wanted to try something wacky without letting letting things go totally off the rails. All around he's approachable as a host, competent as a VTT/media operator, and he was clearly invested in the story and our characters. If you have a chance to join one of his games you'll be glad you did!

Timothy

Played 9 sessions

Tim clearly puts time into well-written recaps and descriptions. He uses the 'grand style' of R.A. Salvatore to create an atmosphere without stifling player input. He also knows the rules extremely well but he's willing to work with players when they want to do something the mechanics don't explicitly allow. I would easily recommend Tim as a GM for anyone.

Roxas

Roxas is very good at voice acting, moving the action along at a pace that feels natural, and presenting a smooth experience with virtual tabletop software. I highly recommend him as a GM.

Mertag

Played 14 sessions

We are playing Out of the Abyss and Mertag is very good at creating a fun atmosphere even while our characters struggle to survive the Underdark. His approach, which might be particular to this module, is quite technical, or 'crunchy.' If one of our players wants to do something, Mertag is less interested in whether or not that action makes sense or seems possible and more interested in whether the rules of the game allow it, which is probably why he calls his campaigns, 'Can You Survive?'
