About me
I enjoy an even mix of combat and roleplay. Love the threat of a quick death and to explore new lands and meet new characters.

Cyberpunk RED isn't a perfect system, but it gets so much right! Style over Substance Cyberware, based on range difficulty gun combat, and interactive melee combat! While netrunning can be a bit removed from the game's other systems, Cyberpunk RED offers a fantastic look at a unique point in the setting with fun and exciting mechanics and one of the best class systems I've ever seen. Even if you don't like the setting, the core engine is solid enough to be reworked into a number of fun sci-fi game ideas easily.
When it comes to Dungeons and Dragons 5th edition it's very hard for me to find any real benefit to the game beyond it's marketing. It's not particularly horrible or good at any aspect of its design, and often makes it seem like it has design it doesn't actually have. There is nothing other than it's name brand that I find can't be outperformed by some other game depending on what you're looking for. Short version is: too much crunch for not enough actual system interaction, no social mechanics, overpriced books with pdf's only available through subscription, a poorly designed gm guide that has the list of magical items without helping you gm, and frankly just not the best at anything even when ranked among other editions.
Mitchell is an amazing GM that takes time to establish a solid setting from r players to them go wild in. He's also great for changing up and making new systems in a game to bring the story he is running to life. If you want creative new ways to play familiar systems, okay with Mitchell!
I had the opportunity to play Pirate Borg with Tyger and it was an amazing game. We went on a dark quest to kidnap a runaway daughter from her giant skeleton lover. The style was amazing, the game was quick and fun, and everything was awesome! I can't recommend Tyger enough if you want a fun adventure, exciting gameplay, and a laid back environment then join Tyger's games and experience something unique.
Matthew has the skill to take a system that doesn't present its rules well and make it approachable. He's excellent at bringing out the best of a system! That's before you get to the storytelling itself. Matthew creates the perfect atmosphere for a variety of scenes, from taking orders from our lord, to being in a ruined and haunted city. Even with this clear atmosphere Matthew leaves lots of room for player creativity to define the scene itself. Absolutely amazing GM!
