About me
Hi everyone! My name is Josh, and I've been running games for decades, thinking about games for decades, talking about games for decades, and writing about games for decades. I love just about any science fiction and fantasy setting, and especially love players who get deeply invested in their role play. Currently, I'm a friend on the podcast Gaming with Gage and Friends, and I'm the former host of the Sandbox Between Stoplights podcast. I've helped develop multiple RPGs, settings, and campaigns. I have helped organize and put on gaming conventions, and I've been professional GMing for about 5 years.

Father J is a hoot! I’m in the midst of one campaign (Black Madonna) and have also his Learn2Play and I strongly recommend both. He’s great at explaining rules, breaking them down, and then making them digestible. He’s also outstanding at creating complex scenarios that make you think and strategize. If you're looking to treat yourself to a really good campaign or session, Father J is your guy.

Such a fantastic GM, super enthusiastic and incredibly descriptive. Even when my character went down in the first round of a four-round fight, he made it an absolute blast to watch unfold.
Sphinx
Sphinx is fantastic! The voices really brought the characters to life and made every moment more immersive. Testing out his custom "Songs & Swords" system was an absolute blast—it's such a unique and fun experience. (I’m really partial to roll under systems) On top of that, he's super friendly and always keeps things engaging. Couldn't have asked for a better play test!

John Wick is an exceptional storyteller and facilitator. His GM style stands out as truly fantastic and fun. One of the aspects I value most is his commitment to giving players the space to shape and evolve the game world. John is a master at posing thought-provoking questions that ignite creativity and imagination among players. It's a refreshing and engaging experience to be part of his games, thanks to his skillful balance of structure and player agency. Highly recommend for anyone seeking an immersive and collaborative tabletop gaming adventure.
