About me
I love telling stories, having fun moments, and helping create memories. I have a very goofy sense of humor but know how to let the serious moments happen. I am a laid-back, casual DM, going more for the "rule of cool" than not, although rules are still important.

Jill is a lovely person! She shows a real enjoyment for the game and ensuring the players are included and know what they are able to do in the story. She explains a lot about what is happening and how things work, which is fantastic if you are a younger or newer player. Her voices were also quite fun!
Out of the Abyss (OOTA) is a long slog, but with the right group has immense potential! It is also very easily divided into two big sections, so if you're thinking about running it yourself, you might consider doing it in half. It certainly benefits from going all the way through, with numerous opportunities for exploring the Underdark and its denizens. The first half is largely a survival story to make a grand escape, and the second half sends you back to thwart an incursion by demon lords! Like a lot of published adventures, you will benefit greatly from really reading the entire adventure all the way through before planning it out, taking into account potential player backstories and desires. There is not a whole lot of "on the rails" writing although the objectives are pretty clear and meaningful. A lot of the main antagonists/monsters may need buffing, depending on party level and composition and because a few just lack interest as written. Overall it's not bad if you really sell the build up to the ending and get lots of roleplay along the way. It is long though and dark, so be ready to be in the Underdark for quite a while! :)
