I played in a learn-to-play Delta Green oneshot with Chris, and it was a blast. He did a great job at gearing a game towards new players. I would also like to specifically highlight how ready he was with answers as we were roleplaying. I feel like a lot of the time the issue I come across with investigative games is that some GMs aren't prepared to handle inquisitive players, which can be a downer in systems like Delta Green. Not so with Chris. He had answers at the ready the whole night, and never acted like a questions was silly even if we had missed the mark a bit (curse you, bad Search rolls). He also ran the game with the camera on and had a really fun way of physically embodying the NPCs. Honestly I felt like I was in a cross between a TTRPG and a really good FMV game. It was a great time all around.
Aletheia has been a super fun GM to play with. I was a little concerned about starting the Shadow of the Wolf campaign as it's my first foray into Lancer in it's canonical setting and as anything other than a oneshot, but she's been great about teaching the system and the lore without making it feel like I'm slowing the session down. I'm also really impressed with how she's able to keep all the NPCs in this political intrigue campaign consistent and interesting. All around a really strong GM with a great grasp on the rules and the setting.
Matthew's Horror and Tension workshop was a phenomenal class on a tricky subject. I highly recommend grabbing a seat in this one if you're planning to run anything with horror themes and you're either not sure how to get your footing or you want a refresher course. I also appreciate the GM's willingness to be flexible in what we covered.
Green is tons of fun as a GM. I came into Lancer as a system newbie and he was incredibly patient with me figuring out some rules in real time. He was great at keeping the game in motion and left room for a few RP moments, which I wasn't necessarily expecting from a Lancer oneshot but which I definitely appreciated! He runs an all-around very fun, very chill game.
