Oh man, where to start, Ink is incredible at everything he does, truly. From the prep and genuine care he puts into preparing charactes with the players for the campaign, to the VTT scenes, I think I'll just list it all out. Backstory into campaign integration, the setting and scenes he creates for the ForgeVTT (which is also the best I've used so far), the music, the fleshed out NPC's and their voices, the roleplay aspect of the game, the combat, the general atmosphere, the patience when us players have technical difficulties, the knowledge of the rules, the quick thinking on the go and improv skills, the good manners and great taste in media overall. A 10 out of 10 exits, and it is right here. For whoever is reading this, come and play. Roleplay and investigate and slay with us, you will love it!
Chris is definitely a pro. He designed a dungeon full of puzzles that was really fun to play and he juggled 6 players masterfully, letting all of us do what we intended and give everyone a chance to contribute. I look forward to seeing the sandbox campaign he has planned for the future, it is gonna be lighthearted and whimsical and relaxed, and if you are looking for something along those line, I can recommend that you join and give it a go!
I've only words of praise for Jay! We played a one-shot dungeon crawl that had plenty of opportunities for roleplay and to really embody our characters. In our party of four we had a player with bad audio, and a beginner as well, but Jay navigated the situation with such poise and patience that I was left stunned. He had a great grasp of the rules and how to explain them in a skilled manner, answering every question like a true mentor of the game. It was a truly enjoyable experience for all of us I am sure, and I cannot recommend him as a DM more!
Ian ran a one-shot module designed for pure combat with a vicious boss that took us a while to take down. It was my first time using D&D Beyond and the 5.5e rules, but he so patiently helped me understand what to do with the DDB webside UI, and ruled fairly in every instance where I had trouble with the new rules or if I had any ideas of my own. If you're looking for heavy combat and a place to test out new characters and take down mighty bosses, keep a look out for more of his games!
