About Ian Brown
I'm fairly new to running games and trying to find my style! After playing in multiple one-shots, hosting a few of my own made sense. I might homebrew a few story ideas in the future but for now, let's play out some one-shots and try to break the rules!

I became a GM because
I fell DEEP into the TTRPG hyper-fixation after binging Critical Role and Dimension 20. This seems like something I can try and practice enough to eventually get paid for this hobby! We'll see!
I got started GMing...
Trying to run a Lightning Keep One-Shot for my siblings via a long-distance play-by-text!
My 3 systems I'd bring to a desert island would be
Daggerheart, D&D 5th edition, and Pathfinger 2e (I'd finally learn how to play)
How Ian Brown runs games
Love seeing new builds and optimization, with a lot of respect for roleplay choices affecting combat and story. Big fan of D&D combat, from Level 20 arenas, to battle royale, to immense boss battles with nearly zero plot! Make no mistake, I'm still a sucker for plot that connects backstories with the world, and letting the passage of time and character choices forming the world around the games.

My games focus on...
Combat and utility, at least for now! Will try to write an actual story sometime in the future!
When it comes to voices
I do my best! A bit of a high school theatre kid, so lots of emotion at least!
Ian Brown's ideal table
Inclusive, supportive, following the rule of cool! Welcome to hear all about ideas and respectful of any set in stone boundaries. Still trying to figure out my DM playstyle, though!
