About me
Soon-to-be-retired communications pro. Getting back into the hobby after decades away. I (try to) GM for an in-person group of very forgiving friends. Big fan of Kobold Press and their Midgard campaign setting. I'd like to enjoy being just a player while improving my familiarity with Fantasy Grounds Unity.

This is my first experience with pay-to-play RPGs. Whenever you decide to pay for fun, the question is always "Will this be worth it?" If you're lucky enough to join one of Dave's games, your answer will be an enthusiastic "Yes, take my money, please." His "on-boarding" process is inclusive, and he prioritizes player safety/boundaries right from the start. Technical side, he knows both the rules of the game and displays complete mastery of his VTT. Gameplay side, he is an engaged, creative GM who balances rules with player agency. After my 5th session - Got lucky with an awesome party of wonderful players. Got even luckier with a responsive and respectful GM who is already actively weaving character motivations into the storyline, providing a "just right" balance of harrowing and hero-ing in combat, and just being incredibly cool and generous with his time. Story recaps. Artwork. Technical support. Ace work. Great dude. Highly recommended. I hope this campaign goes the distance.
