I had a blast playing Shadowdark RPG for the first time. I honestly didn't think I would like it compared to other TTRPGs, but the GM made it very fun. Gabe knows the rules and explained them very well. I would absolutely recommend him.

I don’t enjoy leaving negative reviews, but I think future players should know what to expect. The session was disorganized and the GM did not know most of the rules. It also felt like players were occasionally pressured toward certain decisions rather than being allowed to make choices organically. Based on my experience, I unfortunately can’t recommend this GM. I hope the GM spends more time learning the rules and preparing before sessions, because that would likely make for a much smoother experience.

Dreamerboy is a great Daggerheart teacher and uses very interesting, cool concepts for his campaign. He also considers everyone when GM-ing so no one feels left out and makes himself available if you have any questions or concerns.

Ryan is an amazing and patient teacher. In two sessions, he taught me enough DnD to play it decently in other campaigns. He also makes the game fun and engaging. Plus, he knows a lot about foundry and teaches that well too.

Very fun one-shot, Bleakseason really sets the atmosphere - great monster voice too. He keeps the mystery going til the very end (and beyond). This was my first time playing Vaesen, I learned a lot and I would definitely play his games again.
