I’ve been absolutely stoked to dive into the world of Ravenloft with Kelvin. (Von) I’ve always wanted to play in this module but it’s never worked out until now finally, thanks to him. I’ve been having an insane amount of fun for the sessions I’ve had; I especially love how Von intuits player needs and playstyles, adapting to them quickly, even when going totally off script. The improvisational character riffing that the group has had have been my absolute favorite moments in the game. I am actually deeply impressed by his ability to commit to a somber, gothic tone, even when our group has been irrepressibly silly; he embraces shenanigans and manages to weave it all back into the ongoing narrative. I’m really looking forward to where Von takes us. I feel like the collaborative storytelling that we create together will be some of the most immersive and personal I’ve had the honor of experiencing. I absolutely recommend him as a DM!! 💕🦇🐀
