D@3D

I have been playing with D3@D for a year and a half, in various campaigns across several different systems, from one-shots to ongoing stories. I've also, been a player and Gm myself for a decade at this point. So, I feel confident in saying: I've met few GM's who can measure up to D3@D. In fact, I'd say D3@D is my favorite GM I've played with, and while there's too many great things to say than I can list here, I'll do my best to give good highlights. Something that has been amazingly consistent the whole time is great communication. Bad communication will destroy a gaming table, but D3@D is totally awesome at not only handling communication between players, scheduling, and behind-the-scenes stuff, but is also very transparent about GM/player expectations, boundaries (talked about individually and as a party at session zero), and game/campaign direction. If there is an issue at the table, whatever that may be, they are quick to address it. Whether that be calling for a break to pull a player aside, taking a moment to reset the mood or expectations, or simply making quick decisions to change what's going on at the table, D3@D is on top of it. Another thing I really appreciate is how thoughtful they are. I don't just mean with things like inclusivity, handling sensitive topics gracefully, or checking in on players throughout the campaign, all of which they do handle fantastically. But, just the way they approach their games, the way they approach worldbuilding, the way they make their maps or write NPC short stories or add in a hundred little details. Everything D3@D does is done with such care and passion, and it really is something you can feel as a player, and it all leads to such a great experience from the silliest scenes to the most dramatic and thought-provoking. Even when my character suffers, I come away from the table with good feelings and having a great time. There are a ton of other great things I could say: cool maps, fun NPCs, awesome in-game atmosphere/tone, awesome worldbuilding, lots of great RP, inclusive table, etc etc. But really, the reality is if you play at D3@D's table you won't leave disappointed.
