Despite not choosing to continue with the campaign, Noralf is a solid guy. He was very welcoming from the start, incredibly responsive to any questions I might have, and all-around an incredibly experienced and proficient DM at PbP. If you want to try PbP games, I would recommend no other, just keep in mind that it's an incredibly different format/style from live games in regular D&D, and it WILL take some getting used to. The only other advice I'd give is to look closely at the DM you pick and see if your style/preference appears to match how they run their games. Noralf's games are enjoyed by many, and I can most def see why. A+ :)
Cat's one of the best voice actors I've ever known as a DM, able to pull out voices for goblins and dragons alike with ease and believability. He has crafted a world that is incredibly detailed and soaked in lore as it's been well-maintained and grown over the course of years. The best part is that Cat sincerely cares about his players and genuinely wants them to have the best experience possible, which even translates to him trying to personalize story arcs for the campaign to each player. Just an all-around, wonderful guy, who is a joy to know and grateful to have been in his campaign and made actual friends. Thanks Cat, and I hope you continue being you :)
