About me
I played the original D&D a bit back in the day. Looking back, I think my group did most everything wrong, but we still had fun. A friend got me back into playing in early 2025, and I'm hooked. My favorite games are the ones that balance RP and combat. Too much of one or the other is much less satisfying.

I think Isaac is a great DM. What I like best about his style is that he strikes a perfect balance between RP and combat. For me, too much combat is just empty dice rolls with no context or stakes. And too much RP is just standing around talking with no excitement. I think Isaac gets the mix just right. In addition, he's been completely reliable and communicates effectively in and out of the game. He's also a kind and decent person worth spending time with. I can't imagine a player not enjoying a game he's running.
