Thomas is a highly skilled GM! He's always prepared with maps, music and interesting combat when needed. I've never felt that he railroads us, gives us handouts, or shoots down players ideas. He's able to provide a safe space for conflict resolution and concerns either publicly or privately. We have a wide range of characters in our group, so I know if you had a weird character idea he'd be thrilled to help you work it out. His voices are very charming and the characters have distinct personalities. I usually wait to review GMs, so after having played with him for a bit I can tell I definitely want to stay for the long-term!

I had a great time in the Daggerheart one-shot. I was a total beginner but now I feel confident that I could join a longer campaign or module. I found her easy to get along with, she was very organized, and had a great command of the table.

Mallow is a very organized DM and his experience shows in the few sessions I've played with him. He provided the official roll20 module maps for our Frostmaiden game and all the sources in D&D Beyond. He's great at keeping the pace going and makes an effort to give everyone time in the spotlight. His session zero was the best one I've experienced playing D&D and any technical issues are quickly resolved. I'm having a lot of fun as an experienced player in his game. I'd also recommend him for beginners as not only does he have a mastery of the rules, but his games are pretty 'low tech' for a VTT game when compared to what I've seen with Foundry. Sometimes all the bells and whistles are distracting when you're learning both a new platform AND a new game at the same time. I would say his games could be improved upon if he provided some sort of soundtrack for his games, since I would expect an elevated experience from a paid GM given the price. I do think providing some kind of ambience at the least would be the cherry on top though, as our sessions have been majorly theatre of the mind so far. Overall, I'm very excited to see where this campaign goes!

Zesty really puts in the effort to create an immersive experience for his players. He included music, animated maps and visuals, and lots of handy integrations to make playing online smooth and engaging. I really appreciate the passion he puts into his prep work. He did well to let the players have space for rp, but also knew how to nudge the pace on if the conversation started to dry up. Looking forward to more sessions!
