Shadowdark is a breath of fresh air for so many players and game masters. Simple, fun, and with just enough guidance and rules to make for an engaging and smooth experience. Whether you are accustomed to modern or old-school gaming, you should definetly give it a try. The adventures are easy to run with minimal preparation, although running a longer campaign may require some additional legwork.

A great game master who understands that fun is the core of the game. He is very creative while making sure he rewards players for their own creativity. He also welcomes feedback and is always striving to improve. Highly recommended for players who are looking for an intuitive story-first role-playing experience!

Ben is a fantastic GM! He always facilitates his sessions perfectly and keeps the game moving at a great pace. Everyone gets a moment to shine at his table, and he creates a safe, friendly environment where players can relax and have fun. His quick improvisation and fun character voices make every session memorable.

Sofia ran a game of Legend in the Mist and it was a lot of fun! Everything was on point, the game explanation and how the mechanics worked, letting each character have their moments, working with the players to incorporate their characters into the unfolding narrative, and facilitating a friendly and welcoming table.

Gabrielle ran a wonderful one-shot for me and my group. Everything felt unique, the NPCs, monsters and the music tracks. Player creativity was encouraged and rewarded, and combat felt dynamic and challenging.
