Swords and Sorcery

I have been playing Warhammer with Dunchan for over a year. In the Enemy Within campaign there have been at least 10 times when I was CERTAIN my character was going to die! But I didn't. The effect he creates is that kind of delicious fear that you look for in a horror movie. And then the catharis that you heroically survive another day. The evil may not be permanently defeated, but you (barely) live to fight another day. And the victories feel earned. Dunchan creates one of the most immersive game settings I have ever played in (over 45 years of me playing TTRPGs), with very detailed colourful maps; terrific images of scenes and NPCs; very effective use of Syrinscape atmospheric sounds and music. Highly recommended.

He is great at getting that “in the Dark”’ lights-going-out feel of Shadowdark! Lots of fun!

He did an excellent job teaching a new system - Daggerheart - to a group of people brand new to the game, ensuring they each had time in the spotlight to show off their characters powers, and to share the joy of driving the narrative in the session. And I particularly liked his fabulous NPC character voices!

Eratheon did a great job giving each player creative space which is so important to this new narrative-driven Daggerheart game. They also provided great visuals and soundscapes for a very fun game!

Danil did a great job teaching us the Daggerheart game. We had a very fun time!
