Rob is an engaged and passionate GM who always brings a high level of enthusiasm coupled with a fantastic strategic mind. He manages to create dynamic and interesting encounters and battles, taking care to ensure no challenge is too overpowering or too simplistic for the party. He has a strong passion for the systems he runs. I played DnD games with him and he was very comfortable handling small and larger scale battles, and ensured the game flow was smooth. He's an awesome player as well, and he is always willing to discuss game mechanics, share opinions and offer advice when asked. I couldnt ask for much more from Rob. A GM should be able to be weave an amazing tale, and people may assume (wrongly) that its pretty easy as you just follow rules and read out narrative text boxes, but its not just that. You need to set the tone, mood and situation, and that increases your enjoyment as a player by a million. Highly recommend Rob for any table. He wont disappoint and you'll have a blast!

I was itching to get into a new game, and Mad Mage was one that did appeal. Belle had some exceptional reviews and the timeslot worked perfect for me, so I signed up. I am so happy I did! Belle is an incredible GM. She conducts an excellent session, and also takes a lot of care to integrate your character in all aspects, from just meeting up with other party members to weaving in elements of your backstory. Belle also takes the time to use different voices and tones to distinguish between NPCs, which adds an additional level of enjoyment. She is very willing to assist in all aspects, from questions to character feedback to plain ol' assistance. Belle makes herself easily available to her players, and she very diligent about responding. Even when she dares to take a day or two off, you know she'll get back to you as soon as she puts her GM hat back on lol. You can tell she works hard on her craft to give a quality experience to her players. I joined a few sessions ago and this review is honestly overdue. She's amazing and I look forward to many more sessions with Belle, and am already keeping an eye out for a new game with her if the times and days align!
