Cade is an immersive, creative, and collaborative DM. First and foremost, he runs a wonderful D&D game. He's an excellent narrator, his world is very developed and nuanced, and he builds really fun and creative encounters. His NPCs are layered and varied, from inspiring leaders to deplorable villains. Cade's also excellent with voices, and that really helps make each NPC feel unique and alive. I am only a couple of sessions in, but I am thoroughly invested in all the plot hooks in my campaign with Cade. Outside of the game elements of D&D, Cade is also a great communicator and facilitator. He checks in frequently with his players outside the game and during the game to make sure everyone is getting what they want out of the game. He makes sure to share the spotlight with quieter players to always get their input, and he's very patient as we all figure out new systems and new characters. He puts a lot of time building your character with you, and that time and investment has led to some really great RP moments so far. I highly, highly recommend Cade's games if you're looking for a super professional, riveting, yet encouraging and friendly D&D table!
Terra is an amazing DM. You can tell how much time and energy she puts into her games, and her games are wonderful experiences as a result of her hard work. Terra is friendly and welcoming, great for new and experienced players alike, and she creates an inclusive and safe space for her players. She not only encourages but rewards creativity and teamwork with her players. I highly recommend any of Terra's games, since with her at the helm, you won't be disappointed.
Joel is an excellent DM. He's responsive, engaging, and open to feedback. He created a really friendly environment for players to roleplay in, and he actively works with us with our characters. He knows how to keep the game going without making anyone feel left behind, which is super important in play-by-post games. He's one of the best PbP DM's I've played with, and I can't recommend his games enough.
Grant is a great DM. Having been in one of the PbP games, he's an excellent storyteller and writer, and he always keeps his players in mind. I love how he sets up the games and tries to learn and incorporate themes for your characters, and he's excellent at painting scenes and settings in his game.
More than any DM that I've played with, communication with Miguel has been excellent. At the start of the game, safety tools, expectations, wishes, and player preferences were topics Miguel really emphasized and discussed, and he really tried his hardest to make everyone feel welcome and to make sure his game was one his players wanted to play in. He's so open and receptive of feedback and continually asks us what we liked in the game and what could be worked on. Miguel has also been an expert in creating immersive environments and scenarios. His familiarity of the VTT is apparent, and he makes great use of great visuals and memorable audio. Somehow even more immersive are his voices, sound effects, and descriptions. Through his vivid narration, Miguel often makes me feel like I'm in a scene, and it's made for a really immersive experience. I've had an amazing experience being in Miguel's game thus far, and I genuinely cannot wait to play in more!
