Caestus delivers an outstanding Blade Runner RPG experience, weaving a tightly plotted investigative story that keeps players hooked from start to finish. The pacing strikes a superb balance between clue-driven sleuthing and adrenaline-charged action, where every roll feels weighty—consequence and narrative impact are always just a dice throw away. NPCs were richly detailed and memorable, making the world feel lived-in even for players new to the setting. The virtual tabletop is used to great effect with maps ad handouts to enhance the immersion. Overall, it’s a thoroughly enjoyable two-night starter campaign.

I've been playing a long, twisty Call of Cthulhu campaign with Casey as GM and had a great time. She brings a ton of source material to the table and always finds ways to get the investigators into trouble—just enough to keep things tense and fun. Great investigation to action mix, with a solid atmosphere, and a clear love for the game. I would happily play with them again.

I was only able to play one session, but Ross was great getting everyone started. I am disappointed that I had to leave the Candella Obscure campaign I have a feeling it going to be epic!!! Thanks Ross

I'm thoroughly enjoying our adventures in the Traveller universe, guided by CJ the Traveller. Starting with a group entirely new to the Traveller system, CJ swiftly immersed us in a unique Character Creation process. One of us rolled exceptionally well, resulting in a completely original homegrown spacecraft. Utilizing Foundry VTT streamlined tracking and rolling significantly. As our adventure commenced, CJ adeptly led us through mechanics, maintaining a dynamic pace that allowed ample room for role-playing. CJ's standout quality lies in their adeptness at adapting to and responding to the choices and actions of the player characters. Our decisions carried weight and authentic consequences, deepening our engagement in the narrative. CJ's improvisational skills were evident as they seamlessly wove our choices (not always good choices) into the overarching storyline, ensuring each session remained distinctive and enthralling. As a game master, CJ excelled in fostering a collaborative and enjoyable atmosphere at the table. Encouraging creative thinking and valuing teamwork, CJ ensured every player had opportunities to shine. Their infectious enthusiasm for the game was palpable, reflecting their genuine pleasure in our campaign's enjoyment. Furthermore, CJ's storytelling prowess shone throughout the campaign. The pacing struck a perfect balance, accommodating both gripping encounters and introspective roleplaying scenes that delved into our characters' motivations and emotions. This narrative diversity keeps the entire group eagerly anticipating each session, curious about the new surprises in store. In summary, my experience with Game Master CJ in the Traveller RPG is evolving into an unforgettable journey across the cosmos. For tabletop enthusiasts seeking an excellent crafted sci-fi RPG encounter, I wholeheartedly recommend joining a campaign under the guidance of CJ the Traveller.

My initial foray into the haunting realm of Candela Obscura were nights to remember, thanks to our remarkable gamekeeper, Gray. A master of atmospheric storytelling and suspenseful gameplay, Gray led us on a journey through the eerie veil behind the Fairlands that had us all enthralled and unnerved from start to finish. Gray's storytelling skill and support were evident as we navigated the world of occult investigations. The mysteries were well-designed, adding excitement to our attempts to unravel them. Gray encouraged me to explore different character roles, and I was very happy, playing a role I would not normally have chosen. Now, after playing 42 sessions with Gray across various systems—primarily Candela Obscura, but also Daggerhart and a Sci-Fi Cypher campaign—I can confidently say that Gray is exceptional at bringing out the best in his players. His ability to weave brilliant one-shots with memorable "ah-ha" moments is impressive. But where Gray truly shines is in campaigns. He has an uncanny ability to take all the player character backstories (as rich or high-level as a player wishes to go) and find common threads and themes. He then crafts worlds and adventures that seem made just for you and your group. Bravo! Gray's gamekeeping skills made for fantastic and memorable tabletop sessions, and an always eagerly looking forward to the next one.
