I've been in a campaign with Brad for around 8 months or so now. I just took a chance without really knowing how a campaign worked or having played with him before, but I'm really glad I did! I like my group a lot and we all jell really well. Brad is patient, knows the rules but is also not that strict "no, THIS is the rule and that's it", able to use common sense adjustments (such as, of COURSE hardened adventurers aren't going to forget to pick up their arrows - you don't have to tell him you're doing so, it's understood). He uses background music and fun voice modulators. He has a large interesting built-world and he can keep us engaged and caring for the characters inhabiting it. The storyline so far is intriguing and there are definitely "things afoot!" that we are getting to figure out. He is open to and encourages player ideas and creativity. He uses D&D Beyond and Roll20, and thank the gods uses Zoom. (I've tried playing online D&D without people having their cameras on and it's just not as fun - don't be afraid to share your face with your group! It really does make it more social and more fun!). I'm looking forward to a continuing and long-lasting campaign down the road... if we don't get killed by this dragon first!!! Give DM Brad a try and sign up for a campaign!

This session was a little combat-heavy, although I'm definitely wanting to come back and try some more, since each one probably has a different configuration of people. He was patient with my noobness (new to 5e but not D&D) and questions about that, so it would be a great tryout for beginners, especially in learning mechanics of class and combat. Give him a shot!!

We're slowly making our way back into D&D after a 30 year break and happy to have run across Taylor and trying out his one-shot. He was patient with my fumbling around some of the new edition rules (I came primarily from the old AD&D system!!), explaining things very clearly and even reminding us if we'd left out a possible advantage. He had a great setup for models, clear sound, fun characters that seemed to have interiority to them. The game felt like it had actual stakes to it; I was already attached to my very quickly-created character and was nail-biting throughout. I'm not the best at thinking quickly on my feet, my brain freezes up, but even so, I was still able to stutter out some weird things and he was great at rewarding creative thinking, which makes one more confident the next time. Thanks, Taylor!!!
