About me

Hi, I'm the Solar Jedi! I go by Solar, Jedi, GM or DM, (or Gregg). I am the head proprietor of Sixth Planet, my online gaming group and related store. I have been playing D&D since I was about 8 years old - 35 years now! I am a fan of classic High Fantasy D&D, with settings similar to Faerun, Greyhawk, Dragonlance and the like. Conan meets Beastmaster meets LotR. I like to provide a balance of Role Playing, Exploration, and of course, Combat! I am a collector of fantasy miniatures and terrain for use with my games. I have thousands of miniatures, from tiny to colossal! I also craft, 3d print and paint. I enjoy setting up huge and immersive 3d scenes for my games! We have played in the dungeons beneath Waterdeep, in jungle terrain along the Sword Coast, in the frozen wastelands of the North and in the fiery depths of the Abyss! I typically utilize D&D Beyond and Discord to facilitate my games. I stream two cameras on the terrain and one on me! GM style

I attempt to create an experience that is balanced around three things - Exploration, Roleplaying and Combat. I utilize settings, and sometimes characters, found in official D&D products, but I never run a module as-is, straight out of the book. I customize dungeons and puzzles to facilitate both the 3D terrain and online play.
