About me

Hi, I'm the Solar Jedi! I go by Solar, Jedi, GM or DM, (or Gregg). I am the head proprietor of Sixth Planet, my online gaming group and related store. I have been playing D&D for over 35 years now! My favorite thing about D&D is the idea of creating a shared story together - a lost art until as of late! I am a fan of classic High Fantasy D&D, with settings similar to Faerun, Greyhawk, Dragonlance and the like. Conan meets Beastmaster meets LotR. I like to provide a balance of Role Playing, Exploration, and of course, Combat! I do character voices and accents and have been known to sing a sea shanty on rare occasion! I am a collector of fantasy miniatures and terrain for use with my games. I have thousands of miniatures, from tiny to colossal! I also craft, 3d print and paint. I enjoy setting up huge and immersive 3D scenes for my games! We have played in the dungeons beneath Waterdeep, in jungle terrain along the Sword Coast, in the frozen wastelands of the North and in the fiery depths of the Abyss! I typically utilize D&D Beyond and Discord to facilitate my games. When using 3D terrain I stream two cameras on the terrain and one on me! GM Style

I am a fan of classic High Fantasy D&D, with settings similar to Faerun, Greyhawk, Dragonlance and the like. Conan meets Beastmaster meets LotR. I am not a big fan of House Rules or Homebrew and will stick to the standard rules as much as possible, without getting bogged down by them. Moving the story forward is key!
