Really enjoying playing with Dave. I've been on Startplaying for a couple years now and 10 sessions in I love his style. He's able to weave in backstory and is ready for anything you throw at him. He's quite reasonable and permissive regarding player creativity which is a huge plus for me since that creative spark sometimes gets lost as you play a lot. Very easygoing and funny I find he makes RP enjoyable and not forced at all. I would recommend him to newbies and veterans alike.

From a player perspective I really enjoyed the narrative aspect of Blades and the fact that you're sort of supposed to be the bad guy or at least an anti hero. In all of my long-term DnD campaigns we're ostensibly always doing good deeds and acting morally. In my Blades campaign I was a leech goblin with a drug addiction and we wreaked havoc on the city. The group as a whole was a cult that was worshipping an evil god from a previous DnD campaign we had finished. The game is very fast moving, unforgiving (in terms of PC health) and free flowing. I would recommend it as a fun, dark alternative to more standard DnD games.

Gage is a fun and engaging DM. Very kind and fun to build a story with. His combat can be difficult but also a blast, a nail biter is best in my opinion. I also have a great time roleplaying in his games and its not all about combat. Able to joke but also get serious if needed. Highly recommend!

I think Apollo's biggest strength is understanding the system of 5e and his ability to let characters be creative and work together as a group. I don't recall him ever not allowing something and he definitely works well off the vibes of the party. I've had some of my most fun in DnD during this campaign. Highly recommend for new or experienced players.

I've been playing with Scott now for a year and a half. Can't recommend him enough. Really understands the game, having a good time and telling a meaningful story within that. If you're new he's great at ushering you in and helping you understand the game. He allows for player creativity and the rule of cool which is something I always enjoy. I will also say the effort you invest into your backstory will go a long ways in the campaign/story arcs themselves so if that's a part of your enjoyment with RPGs you will definitely be rewarded. He's very kind and welcoming and I hope you get to know him too!
