About me
I'm a firm believer that Pippi Longstocking could take Geralt of Rivia in . . . less than two chapters.

Andrew is one of those rare DMs that can really surprise you. There's nothing better when playing a session than having your DM invent out of the ether something you've never encountered before. He's thoughtful about character specialization, too, including small items of interest that were thought out specifically to go along with your character build. It's a really nice touch when you realize that your DM has taken the time to look over your sheet, and then come up with something tailor made just for you!
I knew right away we were in good hands. Apra Cres kept the mechanics of the game moving smoothly in the background, while delivering up front with fun voices and characterizations. A real pro. He trusted the players to roll their own dice and call out their totals, which, again, kept the players involved while playing down the mechanics. This kind of play creates an opening where role play can flourish—and flourish we did. I will definitely keep an eye out for his upcoming campaigns and one-offs.
I wanted to learn more about Pathfinder 2e, and I don't think I could have gotten a better DM. George is highly knowledgeable, cool under pressure, and instantly made me feel at home while learning the mechanics of Pathfinder 2e. He's an experienced DM, and I really enjoyed the thought he puts into playing his NPCs and creatures. I've played with DMs that don't imbue their NPCs and creatures with logic and strategy—and those games suffer for it. This is not the case with George, he breathes life into his characters actions (this is a subtle, but powerful thing). I look forward to future sessions.
Old Socks has been DMing for so long the he basically knows everything. And the only time I've seen him stumped, he knew exactly where to look—with lightning speed! He believes in the rule of cool. He favors RAW. His house rules are few and the ones he does have make total sense. Most importantly, he adapts to his players' growing powers without nerfing. When a character gets a cool feature or magical item: they get to use them as intended.
