Melissa is a fantastic GM. I thoroughly enjoyed her Oe game. She played the game in the spirit of Oe ethos. I felt the mortality of my character as she didnt pull punches. I have not felt this intensity with play since I first played in grade school. Moreover, she balanced the rules to the story telling. She fleshed out her NPCs with personality and some humor. There are few dramatic game moments in my life that I cherish. Last night session is one of them. Grolin, a wise dwarf fighting man, shields his companions from a swarm of zombie allowing his companions to safely flee. He drops his mace to pick up and flee with a dying woman to save her from a gruesome death. Unfortunately, his luck had run out. He is separated from his group and cornered by a group of berserkers. As the session ended, we can only hope the gods will favor him or grant him entry to Elysium.

Great story teller and improvisations. Knows AD&D1e rules. Fun time. One of the best DMs I have met.
