I've played in a few one shots with Avel. She is a consistently excellent GM who brings amazing creativity, a beautiful game presentation, and a welcoming, affable personality that sets everyone immediately at ease. You never know what you might encounter at her table, but you can rest assured that your choices will matter and that your character will get a chance to shine (if the dice cooperate). I enthusiastically recommend Avel for people who want to have fun telling a story, roleplaying, and seeing where the dice carry you!

Play by Post is a difficult format to do well as a DM. Remy does an amazing job with pacing, verisimilitude, and character development. The game was engaging and immersive. I highly recommend Remy if you're looking for an excellent PbP experience!

Garry does a great job with Play-by-post! He keeps the game moving (which can be difficult in the format). His stories are unique and interesting and combat is rewarding (which is also difficult to pull off in this format.) If you're looking for a great play-by-post game, you should definitely check him out!

I'm 14 sessions into Carlos's Descent Into Avernus campaign. He is an excellent DM. He has a great sense of pacing -- every session is lively and interesting. He's also great at keeping all of the players involved in the campaign. He rewards clever play and works with players to weave in individual backstories so that the characters really feel like a part of the setting. When it comes to this particular campaign, Carlos has done a masterful job of adapting the source material to be compelling and to dig into the party's motivations for doing what they're doing. The result has been a really fun table that I can't wait to attend each week. Highly recommend!! EDIT: So we are almost at the end of this absolutely fantastic campaign! This has truly been the best DnD experience I've had as a player. And while some of the credit has to go to the other players at the table, Carlos deserves the lion's share of the accolades. He puts the effort in to make your characters feel real - giving you difficult choices and making them feel consequential. His ability to keep everyone at the table engaged while at the same time making the story feel personal is amazing. If you're looking for a game that you can sink your teeth into, give Carlos a try. You won't be disappointed!

I just got done playing a one shot with Erin and had to run in immediately to leave a review. Great story telling, creative mechanics that really added fun and flavor, clever puzzles. She's also super patient and friendly. Can't recommend highly enough!!
