I write D&D modules, I run games, I write code and, most importantly, I love D&D. Actually most TTRPG, RPG and board games to be honest. I am a player, a GM, and a moderator on multiple discord servers, primarily I offer text based D&D 5e games. A play by post that won't fade away and WILL allow you to reach your characters full potential? I facilitate play by post campaigns, catering to one to six players. I will completely customise the game to suit you and your characters, using either homebrew or published materials, depending on your preference, and at any desired levels. We will discuss the essence of D&D adventures with you, and I will craft a world tailored to your specifications. Do you enjoy immersive role-playing? We will engage in scenarios that will delve into your characters life through role-playing. Prefer engaging in combat where you can wield your preferred weapon with fervour or drop Fireballs at every opportunity? Then get your long rest in and brace your selves for some brutality. Or perhaps strike a balance between role-playing and combat, all is possible. I organise play by post games using Discord and Avrae for combat. I consistently respond to posts within 24 hours, making 2-3 daily contributions, and I expect the same level of commitment from players. Any deviations from this schedule will be communicated in advance, and these expectations can be adjusted based on customer preferences

We're partway through our campaign, and I genuinely can’t wait for each session. Gary has built a world that feels alive—full of depth, mystery, and unexpected twists. From intense battles to quiet character moments, everything feels intentional and meaningful. What really stands out is how invested our DM is in our characters and the story we're creating together. Decisions we make has weight, and the world reacts to our actions, which makes the whole experience incredibly immersive. Even though we’re still on the journey, it already feels epic. The pacing is great, the roleplay opportunities are rich, and every session leaves me wanting more. You should definitely join one of Gary’s campaigns.

I’ve played in Garry’s homebrew campaign for a year now and it’s been great! His descriptions of scenes are very detailed, and the fights are both well balanced yet challenging. He also allows a fair amount of non official game material so if you ever want to try Unearthed Arcana or anything similar to this, it’s a great campaign to go for. Garry is very approachable and quick to respond to any questions you may have. The pace of the game is set or limited by the players rather than him. I found his decisions always more than fair. I would highly recommend Garry and his campaigns - you’ll have a great time!

Garry does a great job with Play-by-post! He keeps the game moving (which can be difficult in the format). His stories are unique and interesting and combat is rewarding (which is also difficult to pull off in this format.) If you're looking for a great play-by-post game, you should definitely check him out!

Gary is great and very helpful. It has been a number of years since I have played DND and he was great at getting me up to speed. The adventures are fun and I have enjoyed them very much. Looking forward to more play time in his worlds.
