I’ve really enjoyed playing under this DM. The sessions are well-paced, the world feels lived-in, and the story naturally pulls you in without ever feeling forced. He has a great way of letting players shine, making sure everyone has their moment without derailing the overall narrative. He knows the rules well but isn’t afraid to lean into the rule of cool when it makes sense, which keeps things fun and cinematic without losing structure. There’s a good balance between roleplay, combat, and exploration, and he adjusts smoothly depending on the party’s energy. Overall, it’s been one of the most consistently engaging campaigns I’ve played in; thoughtful, creative, and genuinely fun every time we sit down at the table.

Great DM, very engaging, decent story teller is able to include the a “scary factor” to CoS. However, the DM is not very new player friendly and zero rule of cool here.

An amazing experience!

Vestium

Vestium is by far one of the best GM’s I have ever worked with! He has obviously spent a lot of time and effort into mastering his craft. It’s also clear he has invested in the tools that make playing at his table not just fun and exciting but incredibly immersive. Suspension of disbelieve at his table is so easy. Combat with Vestium is amazing as well. It really feels like he is making the best possible decisions for the NPCs while still rooting for our party. On top of all of that, his calls seem rather fair, and he tends to lean towards “the rule of cool”.

I was not a fan of the style of story telling from the DM. The story was very choppy and almost seemed like there wasn’t much prepared. I was asked to introduce my character (in character) without any sort of context for the group or what they were doing. The story was narrated from a awkward 3rd person point of view, without any of the NPCs actually talking to the PCs.
