About me
In SciFi i usually like playing agile pilot-type characters with athletic backgrounds. In Fantasy I like playing agile fighters (monk, duelist, slayer, rogue/ranger, conan-type agile greatsword barbarian) or innate divine or pseudo-divine spellcasters (favored soul, oracle, divine soul sorcerer). Superpowers I almost exclusively play telekinetics or combination telekinetic/teleporter. I strongly gravitate towards youth (15-20) prodigy (bundles of raw talent but inexperienced at start) type characters. If the GM and system is friendly for it, I also like to play sets of identical twins or deep bonded best friends, generally of equal importance and power. Hero / badass normal pairing in some cases, usually only when the system prefers it such as BESM.

**From Me:** I'm probably not going to stay in the scion game Family is depressing Toughed out anxiety for 3 sessions of having only one twin rescued and the other 'somewhere' only to have one of the twins grow jealous of Sun Xi might end up hating him, Twins not really bonded, one twin though might be better off dead until he broke out of his breakdown, twins have different trauma responses that will probably remove what's little bond they have. And the oldest brother is not doing great either. And then the fiat-backed doom of if don't keep secrets from friends / family. Dont quit before you even try patching things up. Thats what rpg is all about Your character already saved them, all you need is save the relationship Thats called bonding --- **From Me:** It is mainly the twins. Twin suffering the loss or alienation of his twin. Even if you roleplay the twins as not all that close, it still really affects me. --- **Herb / Roll20Dad Response:** ever watch an anime where the hero talks to the family members and make everything good. thats your part of the story. if you quit halfway all because of this and i throw the same thing to you in power rangers, your chapter never ends you need to see what happens next and not just give up before the story even progresses you never watch a lighthearted anime where the protag save the family from danger, they get traumatised and its the hero that supposed to patch thing sup Igor already told you, "look into yourself, deep within you only then the wounds will heal." ever played persona or watch persona or any other anime shows where the hero patch things up? --- **Not part of conversation:** He allowed a twin-rich custom family in the game, I took advantage for comfort escape fantasy, and he turned it into the opposite. And responses suggest there will be no improvement, infect vengeful spillover into the other game (no close family and no twins in that game but he'll probably force a division between secondary characters Lukas and Johnathan). I'm paying for escapist comfort fantasy, not personal growth. And 'not giving up' costs money and I'm not interested in paying for anxiety. He did it in Mutants & Masterminds, let me have a identical twin as an equal-powered sidekick (most GMs ban such things) and he tried to make the twins jealous and hate each other, almost quit on the spot. Didn't try to turn the wins against each other after that. Turned escapist comfort fantasy into the opposite. --- **Old review text that is still applicable:** Good at getting good roleplay out of players that normally aren't good roleplayers - shyness, stuttering, etc.. Does house rule a lot. If you are anal about rules-as-written, this GM isn't for you. I think his house rules generally make things more fun or correct balance issues. The highlight of this GM is coaxing good roleplaying out of players.
Runs games with a lot of power creep well. Big voice actor. Tends to fixate on humorous nonsensical NPCs. 3 of our PCs have legendary pokemon, with a 4th having one for a short time. Everyone has millions of pokedollars - money is no issue. My character loves all the weirdness magnet stuff going on, while the other PCs (characters not players) kind of want it to stop. Sun Ye eggs it to keep going and wants more!. Ghosts, gym leaders replaced with robots, parents / mentors turning out to be secret agents or ranking organized crime, legendary pokemon, ancient temples just showing up wherever,etc..
Very laid back. Call of Cthulhu is brutal. Even with relaxed enforcement of sanity loss, PCs still going to the sanitarium having below-40 sanity scores. Players are mostly older. GM is really big into Runequest and Dune in addition to Call of Cthulhu. I'm loving the character and the 'pulp without being pulp' flavor of the campaign.
