Sara was a great game master. Well prepared and knowledgeable with an interesting theme and fun adventure. I would definitely play with her again.

I play with a lot of DMs, in person, virtually, and at Cons. There are a lot of different styles, but my favorite is the ones that are in it for the player creativity. iMO, D&D is first and foremost cooperative story telling, And the stories that you remember are not the grindy battles, but the ones where a team effort of imagination forged an experience that exceeds each individual players fantasy vision. A DM that fosters and celebrates this is the best that the players can hope for, Kat falls squarely in that camp.

One shots often trade of RP for combat due to the single short time slot. I do a lot of one shots and this DM was definitely top tier in providing an interesting and balanced mixture of both. Additionally, his voice acting was a definite bonus and he embraced character success and rule of cool. So, overall, a top recommendation from me. Will definitely be back.

Great combat and Halloween appropriate spooky theme. Made the encounter challenging but winnable and celebrated player's successes.
