So he does a realistic type of game which is a different experience on playing DnD. Still the same basic rules but just modified where realistic things can happen and effect your character in different way. The way of use of magic is neat and can backfire on your character which makes it exciting. I rolled a nat 1 and lost the use of my magic till a long rest so i had to resort to my trusty magical dagger which did a great job against the bandits. He also hides the ability checks from you which is cool so you dont know if you failed or succeed in hiding, or intimidating or other things. I'm having lots of fun with the DM and the characters currently in our campaign.
Omg our last session was so much fun, we had an all out war with giants, trolls, bugbears and goblins and we were outnumber and had to survive the army coming at us. Having some NPC helping us out defending this town. Great theater of the mind action and able to role play our battle scenes before we take our real action was alot of fun.
It was a fun session. it was my first time joining the party on their second session and the party was welcoming and so was Evan. I will say i thought i was going to lose my character in my first session and it was pretty cool what evan had instore for us. Can't wait for next session
Just finish playing my first session in the Exiles of Qel and i had such a blast in the first session. I was nervous since I signed up solo not knowing the DM or the other players and just wanting to play some DnD. Turn out to be a fun time and i really enjoyed the session and the players were fun as well. Can't wait to keep playing and see what happens. Playing as a little kid is fun too
