I'm not starting any new games at the moment. Thanks for playing! I started playing D&D around 7 years ago and it didn't take long for me to want to get to the DM side of the table. I only really have experience with 5e but I have developed an in depth understanding of the rules and mechanics of the system. I enjoy bringing new people into the game. Most of my games have had at least one new player and it is always great seeing them learn the game and get into their character. I really enjoy making custom things for my players and games. Custom items are always fun, adding interesting things players can seek out or be rewarded with. Custom mechanics such as base building or sets of unique abilities tied to core elements of the story add new options and flexibility for players. Custom boss enemies with unique and interesting mechanics to figure out and overcome are great for groups that enjoy the more tactical side of things. I also have a homebrew world I'm still working on. And of course, all of these are optional for groups who want them. In short, I enjoy customizing things for the game and my players in order to add to the combined storytelling in ways my players will enjoy.
New players are always welcome. If you don't know the game, that is completely fine and I can help you learn it. I enjoy all aspects of the game. Roleplaying, Exploring, Puzzles, and Combat. Different players and groups are looking for different things and I want to cater to what the group wants. As far as rules and such go, I have a very good understanding of the rules and mechanics of the game but I will always encourage people to question things if they think I got it wrong or misunderstood a rule. My biggest goal when running a game is that players enjoy themselves and they never feel a decision was unfair. I will always be willing to explain a ruling and hear any disagreements, and I have reversed many rulings that I deemed incorrect after reflecting on it.
