About Zatatmando(Lee)
A veteran gamer and LARPer for over 25 years, I am always open to playing any system that you might be interested in. As a GM/DM I am fair and happy to entertain house rules and adjustments to magic items and the like. The more involved the players are in the creation of the campaign the better, in my opinion. I love hosting games as much as playing them, and look forward to playing with all of you!

I became a GM because
I wanted to share the world of my imagination with others.
My 3 systems I'd bring to a desert island would be
D&D 5e, Cypher System, and Lasers & Feelings.
When I'm not running games I'm...
Woodburning, hanging out with my wife and daughter, LARPing, or playing board games.
How Zatatmando(Lee) runs games
I am much more an improvisational GM than a 'spend hours and hours creating notes for every possible choice the players will make' kind of GM. I am good at thinking on my feet thanks to years of LARPing, and use that often in my campaigns. I love roleplay and combat equally, though I am not that big on using puzzles in my games. I am pretty good with character voices, and have even considered doing voice acting. I am told that I am a flexible and fun GM by other players of mine, and think that sums me up as a GM pretty well. I would much rather the players enjoy themselves than get caught up in rules minutiae. The narrative and the fun come first in my opinion.

I prep by
I tend not to prep too much, actually. I use my improvisational skills to move the campaign along and help build the story with you.
My games focus on...
adventure, mystery, and combat antics.
Rules are...
Guidelines, but ultimately I decide what fits my universe, and I usually use the Rule of Cool to resolve issues.
Zatatmando(Lee)'s ideal table
My ideal table would have to be one where the players have connected their characters to the point where they need little more than a setting from me, and they RP together without the need of the GM poking in. I would come to like these people and would want to protect them.

I love it when a player
comes to the table with a well-defined backstory that we can tweak to fit my world.
I think metagaming...
is a gamer sin that we all struggle with from time to time.
My table is not the place for...
conflict. I like the play at my table to be harmonious as much as possible.
