About me

My name is Zachary, but you can call me Zach, DM, or even “Hey you” although the last one can get confusing on a video session. I’ve been a long time TTRPG fan as far back as I can remember, and have played D&D since the old TSR days, along with a number of other games over the years. I’ve run multiple games as a DM/GM, but my longest experience as a DM has been with D&D 5th edition. Along with all that, I'm a big fan of all things fantasy, sci-fi, and horror and love mixing genres in my games, with a special affection for subverting stereotypes and cliches!

GM Style

I have a love of Roleplaying and Storytelling and I enjoy using those in my games as much as possible! I love teaching new players, and while I’m strict with the dice, I’ll always err on the side of fun! While digital tools are used, I prefer something more paired down and simple so the games can run more quickly, relying on descriptions and narration. That said, I do use a VTT for combat so it won't be theater of the mind.
