Greetings, Adventurer! And welcome to my table! 🧙🏾 My love of fantasy began with Brian Jacques' Redwall series of books, a good 25 or so years ago. Then, I moved on to JRPG video games, such as Final Fantasy, and movies like The Lord of the Rings. Now, thanks to this line of work, I get to tell my own fantasy stories! 🎲 I have been rolling dice and telling stories with my friends and family, and as part of a local gaming club for over a decade now, particularly after playing the 4E era board games and watching a ton of Critical Role to help stay sane during my PhD studies. 🛠️ I enjoy tinkering with game design, world-building, voice impressions and digital tools to create immersive and fun experiences for my players. 👯 My foremost priority is that everyone has fun together as a group. A three-plus-hour game session is a lot of time to take from a busy person's schedule, and I treat that time respectfully. 🐺 Player agency is my second priority. For me, the whole draw of TTRPGS is that they allow for doing much more than what can be coded into a video game. So, I try to allow as much freedom as possible without breaking things. 🧚🏻 I lean toward a high-fantasy and light-hearted style of play. I primarily focus on role-play and combat, with some light puzzles and survival elements incorporated where appropriate. 🎭 I'm no voice actor or theatre kid, but I have fun with my roleplay voices and impressions. 🗺️ I enjoy building captivating worlds and crafting immersive experiences for my players. 📖 I run the rules as intended for a fun group experience rather than how they might be written.
